Friends invited to become citizen-journalists

Citizen journalism has been selected as a key focus for the 2015 spring gathering of the Quakers and Business Group.
Ex-Reuters reporter Patrick Chalmers and Judy Kirby, former editor of the Friend, will teach participants how to produce video interviews and reports using a smart phone. They will also explain how training Friends as citizen-journalists will add to Meetings’ ability to talk to the general public.
The gathering will take place on Saturday 18 April 2015 at Northampton Meeting House.
