Friends House vigil continues
For the third consecutive Monday a vigil has been held
A vigil has been held outside Friends House for the third consecutive Monday.
The vigils are in support of former staff whose jobs were lost following Friends House Hospitality’s decision to end zero-hours contracts. Organisers have called on supporters to write to Britain Yearly Meeting recording clerk Paul Parker, asking him to reinstate the three workers.
(A background article on this story and a contribution from the trustees of Britain Yearly Meeting will be published in the 30 January edition of the Friend).
