Exhibition prompts ten radio interviews in one day

by The Friend Newsdesk 19th August 2016

An exhibition currently on show at Friends House in London has been the subject of broadcasts on local radio stations across Britain.

Ellis Brooks, who does peace education work for Britain Yearly Meeting, was interviewed by ten BBC local radio stations on Sunday 14 August and talked about the background and themes of the exhibition Echo Chamber. It was inspired by the men who refused to kill in world war one (see the Friend, 5 August) and contains archive recordings of conscientious objectors from the first world war. It runs from 18 August to 2 September.
