Friends House accredited
Friends House is one of just twelve venues in the UK to be awarded both prestigious accreditations
Friends House has been awarded two prestigious accreditations. The Meetings Industry Association (MIA) gave the venue a Gold accreditation, while the ‘Accredited in Meetings’ award was from Venues Of Excellence.
Describing the accreditations as a ‘fantastic achievement’, the Quiet Company said that ‘fewer than sixty venues in the UK hold either of these distinctions, and less than twelve… hold both’. The company is the fully-owned trading subsidiary of Quakers in Britain.
Kerrin MacPhie, the MIA chief executive, said: ‘Achieving this high standard… requires robust policies and procedures to ensure excellence in service delivery, pricing, the customer journey, and continuous improvement… Buyers who choose an MIA Gold Accredited venue can be assured of excellence.’
The Venues Of Excellence scheme is a mark of quality for independent venues. The ‘Accredited in Meetings’ award is delivered to venues displaying uniqueness and excellence in service. Both accreditations were delivered after an independent assessment.
