Friends highlight militarisation
Diana Francis to speak at a a conference on militarisation

Quaker author and peace campaigner Diana Francis is to be one of the speakers at a conference on militarisation to be held at Friends House on 19 October.
The conference, entitled ‘Militarisation in everyday life in the UK’, aims to raise public awareness and stimulate debate and critical thinking.
The event will bring together academics, writers, activists, campaigners and others who are working in, and concerned about, the prioritisation of the military and military approaches in many areas of everyday life in the UK.
