European online Meeting for Worship on 29 March

Friends will meet online and outside the European Commission on 29 March

The Quaker Council for European Affairs (QCEA), the Friends World Committee for Consultation’s Europe and Middle East Section (FWCC EMES) and Woodbrooke have organised an online Meeting for Worship to be held on the original date for the UK’s exit from the European Union. The Meeting for Worship will take place at 10:30pm Greenwich Mean Time on 29 March and last approximately one hour. The event will go ahead despite the fact that on 21 March it was agreed that Britain will stay a member state until 12 April (if Theresa May’s withdrawal agreement is rejected) or 22 May (if it is accepted).
