Early Quakers online
New course to be launched
The Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre in Birmingham has joined with Lancaster University and online learning provider FutureLearn to offer a free online course on early Quakers.
The three-week course is called ‘Radical Spirituality: the early history of the Quakers’. It will look at how Quakerism began, who the key figures were and how it changed seventeenth-century England.
The course will be led by Ben Pink Dandelion, programme leader at Woodbrooke’s Centre for Postgraduate Quaker Studies and head of Quaker studies at Lancaster University.
Betty Hagglund and Stuart Masters of Woodbrooke will also contribute.
