EAPPI speaks out about plans to forcibly transfer up to 7,000 Palestinians

The Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI) wants Friends to help campaign against enforced transfers on the West Bank.

According to EAPPI, the Israeli government plans to forcibly transfer up to 7,000 Palestinians from forty-six West Bank communities and, in some cases, the people are being moved to make way for illegal settlements.

‘The UN secretary-general has said that if this plan goes ahead it will be in violation of international law and represents a grave breach of the Fourth Geneva Convention’, said a statement from EAPPI. Friends are urged to share their concerns with their MPs.
