Developing country debt payments increase
Developing countries have seen a 45 per cent increase in external debt repayments
New figures from the Jubilee Debt Campaign (JDC) show that average government external debt payments across the 122 developing countries for which data is available have risen from 6.7 per cent of government revenue in 2014 to 9.7 per cent in 2016, an increase of 45 per cent.
