Looking around the circle of Friends in Meeting for Worship, I am conscious of the diversity of our journeys. Most of us are probably in the second half of our lives; we have had jobs, perhaps careers, children, marriages, divorces and bereavements. We may have found a sense of purpose; and we may have lost it. All of us have experienced difficult passages. Some of these are ongoing, evident in frowns and pursed lips.
