Britain Yearly Meeting calls on Friends to join a week on Global Divestment Mobilisation

Britain Yearly Meeting (BYM) is calling on Friends to join thousands of people around the world to take action during the Global Divestment Mobilisation from 5-13 May.
Divestment means getting rid of investments in the fossil fuel industry.
Quakers were the first religious group in Britain to divest their centrally held money from fossil fuels as part of their commitment to become a low-carbon, sustainable community.
