BYM appoints new deputy recording clerk

Britain Yearly Meeting (BYM) has appointed Siobhán Haire to be its new deputy recording clerk.
The Quaker from Tottenham Meeting joins the organisation from the charity The Brilliant Club, where she has been interim chief operating officer.
Currently nominated as Yearly Meeting clerk for 2022, Siobhán will perform that role as expected (if appointed by Yearly Meeting) before taking up her new role on 5 September. She has previously served as assistant clerk of Yearly Meeting.
Originally from Northern Ireland, Siobhán grew up in Ireland Yearly Meeting and went to Friends’ School, Lisburn, before moving to England to study. A teacher and solicitor, her varied career spans the education, legal and charity sectors in a variety of legal, HR and senior operational roles. Siobhán takes over from Juliet Prager who leaves at the end of May.
