Birthday celebration for Faslane
Thirty-three years of Faslane peace camp
Faslane Peace Camp turned thirty-three on Friday 12 June.
The peace camp has continuously occupied several sites alongside Faslane Naval base in Argyll and Bute in Scotland since 1982. The campaigners’ priority is to interrupt work at the base and disrupt the road transportation of nuclear warheads.
Friends from across Britain and Ireland have participated in nonviolent protest at Faslane since 1982.
