Bath Meeting House is celebrate appointment of David Goode as president of Bath’s Natural History Society
Bath Meeting House is celebrating the appointment last month of professor David Goode as president of Bath’s Natural History Society.
David Goode is a prominent local Quaker, who has led fellow Friends on nature walks, and he was interviewed by BBC Radio Bristol about his appointment.
He has an international reputation for his work on environmental projects, ranging from wetland conservation to urban sustainability. He is also the author of many naturalist books, including Nature in Towns and Cities, published by Harper Collins in 2014.
The Bath Natural History Society was founded in 1941 to promote the study and enjoyment of natural history within the Bath area.
