Sarah Mudd reports on a recent event in Chelmsford: ‘From conflict to conflict resolution, one hundred years of peacemaking’

It is 100 years since the first world war – the ‘war to end all wars’. Yet the British armed forces have been deployed in conflicts around the world every year since then, and continue in the present day. Billericay Meeting wanted to use this history of conflict as a stepping off point to honour, and learn more about, some of those who have promoted peace during the last 100 years.
