When I read a report from Meeting for Sufferings about proposed ‘regional gatherings’ ‘my heart did leap for joy’. I feel that the salvation and future for Quakers in Britain will only come about through this development.

What does this mean in terms of real and appropriate accomplishment to improve our faith and practice? Would it be a talking shop or radical reform on how we achieve expansion and transformation? How could we prepare Friends to carry out the tasks needed to enhance the culture and life of our Local and Area Meetings? There is so much untapped expertise and talent in the regions that could be of real and lasting value to Friends in Britain.
