You have probably all heard the one about the bishop being interviewed by the cub reporter. He asks the bishop: ‘What do you think about sin?’ The bishop replies dryly: ‘I’m against it.’ Peace is rather the same – except that everybody’s in favour of it. For me, the interesting question is not ‘whether’ one should fight but ‘under what circumstances’.
