Manchester Young Friends joined a ‘dusk walk’ on 12 October in a bid to raise money to support homeless young people in Greater Manchester.

The Friends said that their action was ‘one small way we can live our testimony to equality’. Hundreds of walkers took part in the dusk walks, which took place in London, Manchester and Newcastle. They were organised by homeless charity Depaul UK, which supports sixteen to twenty-five-year-olds experiencing or at risk of homelessness. It is inspired by the work of St Vincent de Paul.
