Meeting for Sufferings: BYM trustees report
'Trustees were keenly aware of the increased cost of living and energy prices that are affecting everyone – individually and as Meetings – and had had discussions with staff and the employment committee.'
Caroline Nursey, clerk of Britain Yearly Meeting (BYM) trustees, and Linda Batten, Yearly Meeting treasurer, then spoke to BYM’s report. The trustees met on 2-3 September, they said, when, according to Caroline, the meeting was ‘gently paced’.
