From a guide to spoken ministry to British values

Guide to spoken ministry

Barbara Lippitt’s letter (14 November) struck a chord with me. We often work hard to reinvent the wheel when useful documents have already been created by Friends elsewhere in the Yearly Meeting. While I was sending on to Barbara a worship leaflet created in our own Meeting some three years ago, it occurred to me that some others might also like to see it (if only to think: ‘hmm, that’s not how we would have put it!’).

So, this is just to say that we (York Friargate elders) would be happy to share copies of our A5 leaflet Finding our way into Meeting for Worship: tried and tested Quaker practice with anyone who would like to see a copy. My contact details are below.

Westminster elders created a guide to spoken ministry last year, and are happy to share it. We felt that it would both help newcomers and might remind established Friends!
