Quaker reparations event in parliament
‘Reparations aren’t about trying to fix the past.’
Britain Yearly Meeting (BYM) co-hosted a discussion in parliament exploring what reparations might mean in practice today. The event, ‘Approaches to Reparations: Faith-based, community, and grassroots perspectives’, was co-hosted by the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on African Reparations and chaired by Bell Ribeiro-Addy, Labour MP for Clapham and Brixton Hill.
