Hertford Friends host concert on testimonies
Hertford Friends are hosting a ‘Walk Cheerfully over the World’ concert in October.

Hertford meeting house will be hosting a concert in early October entitled ‘Walk Cheerfully over the World: Quaker testimonies in music and song’.
It will feature the Aylwin String Quartet with Richard Simpson (principal oboe, BBC Symphony Orchestra) and Lottie Greenhow (soprano). The programme will feature six songs by Peter Webb reflecting Quaker testimonies and the Quintet for oboe & string quartet by Arnold Bax. There will also be music by Purcell, Vivaldi, Webern and Vaughan-Williams.
The concert is at 3pm on 8 October.
