Friend signs book deal
A Friend from North London has signed a two-book publishing deal

Stephen Cox, a member of North London Area Meeting, has signed a two-novel publishing deal with Jo Fletcher Books, an imprint of Quercus.
The first novel, set in 1960s’ America and entitled Our Child of the Stars, tells the story of a lost boy and the lengths his adopted family go to protect him.
Stephen Cox said: ‘I set out to write an enjoyable story for grown-ups, rather than preaching at them. And yet the themes in the book may resonate with Friends: family love, accepting difference and questioning the morality of violence.’
