Beth Allen reports on the re-opening of the Quaker Center in Philadelphia that is at the forefront of green design

Friends Center now represents the marriage of our faith and our practice.’ In their elegant Meeting room on Cherry Street, on 12 September, Philadelphia Friends told over 100 Quakers how they planned, fundraised and achieved their vision of a groundbreaking green, renovated and energy efficient office complex and place of worship.
