Meeting for Sufferings: Trustees report

After some membership admin and appointment of new Quaker Recognised Bodies (Bamford Quaker Community and the ‘Quakers in the World’ web portal), the clerk of Britain Yearly Meeting (BYM) trustees, Caroline Nursey, gave a report. Trustees had been delighted to meet face-to-face again, she said – so much so that they had to remind themselves to be disciplined in their meeting. There were no items requiring deep discernment, but Caroline was keen to ensure that representatives were aware of considerations that had already been made. To this end, trustees had met online with MfS reps in the previous week (these had been ‘open, engaged and productive’ according to those involved).
