Before this virus, few people gave a thought as to what it was like to be locked in for most of the day. Now, many of those experiencing lockdown are struggling to live with it even for just a few weeks. Perhaps, in time, some may come to appreciate the mental cruelty of enforcing such a lockdown on a person in prison, possibly for many years.
