What does it mean to embark on a pilgrimage of justice and peace? This question has been occupying the World Council of Churches (WCC) Central Committee meeting in Geneva from 2 to 9 July. It has been approached in two ways. One is how it is to be carried out in the WCC programmes; the other is the encouragement of churches working together for justice and peace in their local contexts.
