Jordans rebuild recognised in awards

Jordans Quaker Meeting House has won the John Betjeman Memorial Award for 2009.

This prize is given by the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB) for the best examples of repair to the fabric of churches and chapels in England and Wales. The work must be based on the principles of conservative repair advocated by the SPAB.
This is a tribute to the beauty of this historic Quaker Meeting house and to the skilled and sensitive work by everyone involved in repairing it
