Sue Jarvis considers inclusivity in Friends' written materials
Doncaster Meeting House is in the middle of a large housing estate in an area of social and economic deprivation. There are high-rise flats, council housing and sheltered housing.
One Sunday morning three people walked into the Meeting house. We had never seen them before. They told us that they lived locally in sheltered accommodation and it soon became obvious that all three had special needs. We offered
Advices & queries and the information for first time attenders, but they had difficulty with these. They stayed with us for Meeting for Worship.
